John Sullivan is Vice President and Corporate Treasurer at Avaya Inc., a leading provider of communications software, technology, and services. John has more than 25 years of corporate finance experience at both large and small companies, including eight years at JDS Uniphase Corp. and nine years at PG&E Corp. At Avaya, John manages global treasury operations, pension, and post-retirement investments, risk management, insurance, customer credit, and capital structure. John has managed, negotiated, and closed more than $4 billion in financing transactions, including private equity, public debt, venture capital, convertible notes, bank debt, and commercial paper. He is an experienced manager of accounting, finance, and business transaction personnel in start-up and international environments. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Michigan and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
