This SaaS offering provides real-time monitoring of cloud applications, platforms, and infrastructure.

Fluke Networks earlier this month introduced TruView Live, a subscription-based SaaS offering that provides real-time monitoring of cloud applications, platforms, and infrastructure, reporting on availability and performance end to end.

TruView Live is a breeze to deploy -- all you do is sign up, select the service you want, and implement in easy steps. With TruView Live, you can get reports on cloud applications such as Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.com, as well as on corporate intranets and external websites.

Today's borderless enterprise networks, with little distinction between enterprise datacenter infrastructure and the cloud, IT needs tools like TruView Live to gain visibility and help ensure an optimal end-user experience. Not having a solid, definitive demarcation means trouble ahead... and beware to anyone venturing into this abyss without proper tools. Performance problems can be pricey, too: The costs for network outages are about $7,900 per minute, as reported by Ponemon Institute.

As I wrote in a previous No Jitter post, Network Chances, Gambling the Risks Away, an Aberdeen Group study has found positive results for businesses that have real-time network performance analytics. Such companies are:

With TruView Live, IT administrators can:

TruView Live collects information and monitors application availability and performance using an active test sensor, Pulse. TruView Live features three types of Pulse sensors, which can be used in any combination

TruView Live is a pay-as-you-go service available in three service levels, based on the number of cloud services a business wants to monitor.

Fluke Networks has once again delivered something that is so useful and affordable. Take five minutes -- or less -- and set up your free trial today; it's painless. This is something to get excited about because having the right tools at the right places means improvement and anything that can be measured can be improved.

The scalability is from one small business to many locations in a large global distributed enterprise. The cost of network outages and disruptions to cloud services are staggering.

TruView Live will allow companies or VARs and providers to be proactive and reduce downtime and the time to report an outage, which is always critical but especially so when it's seemingly at an inconvenient time... such as 4:30 p.m. on a Friday with a holiday Monday following.
