As this XO infographic shows, cloud-based UC holds much potential.

Many enterprises have long been reaping the benefits of unified communications, and many others are likely to do so as the number of affordable, easy-to-use cloud options grows.

The advantages of consuming UC as a cloud service may simply prove too difficult to ignore, as UBM Tech (No Jitter's parent company) learned in a survey of more than 400 business technology professionals it conducted this summer on behalf of XO Communications. In these positions, she has earned more than a dozen national and regional editorial excellence awards from American Business Media, American Society of Business Press Editors, Folio.net, and others.

Beth has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and lives in Chicago.
