Here's an interesting announcement on a product that integrates Unified Communications features into Google Apps.

Here's an interesting announcement on a product that integrates Unified Communications features into Google Apps.Like Google Apps itself, this integration is being pitched at SMBs, but obviously anything that adds UC to Google Apps has got to catch the eye of folks in Redmond and elsewhere. And the company, Voice Mobility, does have an Enterprise Edition product.

What I found really interesting was the line that Voice Mobility is using to promote the Google Apps integration on its website:

With Google Apps, free or premium service combined with the cost-effective UCN Vmerge solutions, IT managers can roll out new technology to keep pace with consumer technology. (emphasis added)
